[Masthead Image: Home for the Holidays]At dusk as I pulled into my driveway from some quick grocery shopping downtown at Smitty's Market, I looked at my house and the lighting display I had put up for Christmas and decided it might be nice to have a picture. Although my yard isn't the nicest in town and my home not fancy by anyone's standards, I really loved how my humble little home looked and I certainly did like how this photo turned out. Since I don't really send out Christmas cards, maybe I will use this as an electronic version of a Christmas card and email a link to all my friends.

I don't have any training at all in photography, so I can't tell you much about how I did the shot, except to say that I took it with a Kodak Easy Share Z760 and I used the automatic "Night Scenery" setting. If I had the moment again and could do it over, I might experiment with using a tripod (looks a little blurred, but that almost looks like the intended effect, so I guess it's OK).
